Goal Keeping Clinics

Indoor 2020/21

Free of Charge for U9 to U17 registered CUFC Indoor Competitive Youth players only.

CUFC Keeper Adcademy will operate ONLY if adequate numbers of players register.
Covid-19 Protocols will be strictly adhered to at all times.
Players from separate cohorts with follow Social Distancing rules to restrict contact.
The CUFC Goalkeeping Academy session, will be weekly for all existing and aspiring keepers. Each team will be allowed to send keepers to the clinics but the players must attend a minimum of three consecutive sessions.
The Goalkeeping Academy will be Free of Charge for registered indoor competitive Chestermere United players and will take place on Saturday mornings, and the Academy will run for 10 weeks.

CUFC Goalkeeping Academy Sessions will be for 60 minutes and will be for U10 to U17 Boys and Girls throughout the season and will be delivered by the CUFC Goalkeeping Coach,Victor Salas.(See Biography below)

10:30am to 11:30am - U11 to U17 Youth (Male & Female)

ALL sessions INDOOR on a Turf Field, ensure that you bring appropriate indoor footwear, clothing, shin guards and water. 

 If goalkeepers have a team practice that night they are to attend the Keeper training instead and join their team for the last part of their team practice if possible
If players have a game with their team on the date of the Goalkeeping Clinic, they must attend the clinic if possible. Where time does not allow attendance to both, players MUST attend their team games.
All players will receive information & instruction on proper warm up & cool down stretches, Nutrition & hydration and injury treatment.

Keeper jersey must be worn to all training sessions, along with black soccer shorts and socks. Shin guards & appropriate footwear are mandatory at all sessions and players must bring adequate drinking water.

Academy Coach - Victor Salas

Victor’s coaching philosophy is to encourage long term enjoyment of the beautiful game by enthusiastically teaching all aspects of the game in a fun, competitive and challenging environment. His goal as a coach is to develop competitive and recreational footballers to their fullest potential as players, teammates and empathetic people.

Victor is a football fanatic and has been a goalkeeper since the age of 12.
